sharks are cold blooded fish, and have have been around for more than 450 million years. sharks do not have bones, but cartilage instead.there are more than 400 species of sharks. they come in a variety of colours from grey, brown, yellow and cream. they have tough skin to protect them from other predators and are carnivores, eating other fish species thorough the sea.

unfortunately, sharks are heavily impacted by overfishing, fisheries bycatch, habitat and prey loss, and human disturbance - so heavily that they are near excitation.
